Cancellation and Refunds

Thank you for choosing Efzec Empire Holdings Sdn Bhd for your web development and design needs. We are committed to providing high-quality service and client satisfaction. Please read our policy carefully to understand the terms and conditions regarding cancellations and refunds.

 

1. Scope of Service

This policy applies to all web design, web development, and related digital services provided by Efzec Empire Holdings Sdn Bhd, including but not not limited to website creation, e-commerce development, custom programming, and maintenance plans.

 

2. Payments

Initial Payment: A non-refundable initial payment of [e.g., 50%] of the total project cost is required to begin any work. This payment covers initial consultation, project planning, and the reservation of our resources.
Balance Payment: The remaining balance is due upon project completion and before the final website or service is launched or delivered to the client.

 

3. Cancellations

Cancellation by Client:
If a client requests to cancel a project before any work has commenced, the initial payment is forfeited and will not be refunded.
If a client requests to cancel a project after work has started, all payments made up to the point of cancellation are non-refundable. The client will be invoiced for any additional work completed beyond the scope covered by the initial payment. Any intellectual property created by Efzec Empire Holdings Sdn Bhd remains our property until full payment is received.

Cancellation by Efzec Empire Holdings Sdn Bhd:
We reserve the right to cancel a project at any time if a client breaches the agreed-upon contract terms, fails to provide necessary content or feedback in a timely manner, or engages in unreasonable or abusive behavior. In such cases, a prorated refund may be issued for uncompleted work, less any expenses and fees incurred.

 

4. Refunds

Given the nature of web development and design services, which involve the investment of time and resources into intellectual property, we have a strict refund policy.

No Refunds After Work Has Commenced: Refunds will not be issued for any project that has commenced, as our time and expertise have already been invested. The initial payment is non-refundable.

Exceptions: A refund may be considered only in the event that Efzec Empire Holdings Sdn Bhd fails to deliver the project as outlined in the initial agreement, and the client can demonstrate that we have not made reasonable efforts to remedy the situation. In such a case, the refund amount will be determined based on the percentage of work not completed, less any expenses and fees incurred.

 

5. Project Delays

We will not be held responsible for project delays caused by the client’s failure to provide necessary information, content, or feedback in a timely manner. Delays may impact project timelines and costs.
